The Nigerian Medical Association AKS in partnership with the Foundation for the Maroon (FOMA) and Hon. Udo Kierian Akpan (the immediate past House Leader of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly representing Oruk Anam State Constituency) organized a free Medical Mission at Ikot Esenam, Oruk Anam LGA, AKS.
At the Medical Mission, 110 surgeries were carried out, and over 1500 indigent patients received medical care. Also over 160 patients had eye care needs met including prescription lenses.
